The Coalition for Educational Justice is holding a Juneteenth Virtual Block Party on Friday, June 19th to continue to pressure Mayor de Blasio, Speaker Corey Johnson, and the City Council to take action to fully fund public education, culturally responsive curriculum, and healing-centered schools. This event is held as part of the Movement for Black Lives’ SIX NINETEEN actions.
