Metis Associates works with school districts to promote educational equity and school integration in rural, suburban, and urban settings and across the K-12 continuum. A pillar of this work are our grant-writing services, which has won over $236 million in magnet school funding for our school district clients since 1992. We also provide evaluation services for these US Department of Education-funded programs, which feature data-supported continuous program improvement and outcome studies.

Our research team designs and conducts reviews of magnet, specialized, and school choice programs. These projects examine policies and practices related to equitable access, program quality, and capacity building.

Our Expertise Includes…

  • Magnet Schools
  • Voluntary Desegregation and Student Assignment Plans
  • Theme-Based Program Design and Evaluation
